Sync 4 12" or 13" Navigation APIM

This APIM can be used to upgrade your vehicle or as a replacement for your bad APIM.

Select Factory Sync 4 Replacement and provide your VIN if you'd like us to pre-program a replacement module for you at no extra charge. For custom conversions, please contact us first to make sure we can program it for you. If so select custom conversion and we will pre-program it for your specific conversion.

These are ONLY compatible with the large format displays and will not work with 8" Sync 4 displays or any size Sync 3 displays.

Information for factory replacement modules:

• Our APIMs ship with a recent software version that includes fullscreen CarPlay and Android Auto. 
• Sync 4 Navigation is a paid subscription through Ford. If you previously had a multi year or lifetime subscription it may not work anymore. You will be able to see a map, however you will not be able to put a destination in. This does not impact Apple CarPlay or Android Auto navigation. That will still work normally.
• No OTA updates will occur to this APIM unless brought to a dealer to have the ESN updated in Ford's database. You can also update it yourself with a J2534 passthrough device and 2 day FDRS subscription. Please contact us for more information. This is optional and does not impact any other functionality.
• Our APIMs are genuine Ford modules.
