Things to Know Before Ordering

Please review these notes before purchasing so you know what to expect after the upgrade.

• Climate controls: HVAC cannot be controlled from the Sync 4 screen. You will still use your physical climate control buttons. If your truck has automatic climate control, the temperature should still display on the screen.

• SiriusXM and radio presets: 2015-2018 trucks may lose SiriusXM, if equipped, and saved radio presets. The regular radio and sound menu will still work. These features can be restored by upgrading to a 2019+ ACM. 2019-2020 trucks do not need an ACM upgrade.

• 360 camera: The 360 camera will still work, but extra camera views cannot be selected or changed.

• FordPass: FordPass should continue working as long as the radio is not master reset and the vehicle is not removed from your FordPass account. If that happens, the original radio may need to be reinstalled to reactivate FordPass.

• Built-in navigation: A map may display, but destination entry may not work because the required navigation subscription is not currently available. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto navigation will still work normally.

• Trailer Reverse Guidance: This feature has not been tested with this kit.

• New kit notice: This is a newly released kit, so other minor compatibility issues may be discovered. If you run into an issue not listed here, please contact us at support@oemplusupgrades.com.
