SYNC 3 to SYNC 4 Upgrade Kit for Ford Maverick

Upgrade your SYNC 3-equipped Ford Maverick to SYNC 4 with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. This kit gives you faster performance, a higher-resolution interface, and the larger OEM Ford 12" display.

The included display and mounting bracket provide a clean, factory-style fit and finish.

Compatibility

This kit is only for Ford Maverick Lariat models currently equipped with factory SYNC 3, typically Lariat Lux package vehicles.

If your Maverick does not have SYNC 3, please purchase our base radio to SYNC 4 upgrade kit instead.

Installation

This kit is fully plug-and-play with no pin changes, splicing, or drilling required. The SYNC 4 APIM comes pre-programmed to your truck.

• OEM+ Upgrades Maverick wiring harness
• Optional SiriusXM antenna add-on available, subscription required and only needed if your truck does not already have SiriusXM

Navigation Information

Ford requires a subscription for factory navigation on SYNC 4. If selected, we can enable built-in factory navigation on your APIM.

If you choose not to purchase navigation there will either be no map at all or a map that only shows your location that you cannot input addresses into. With navigation enabled, you can enter addresses and search points of interest directly through the factory navigation system.

This does not affect Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Warranty

All parts include a 1-year warranty.

Important Notes

• FordPass will work with this SYNC 4 kit. If the FordPass connection is removed, you may need to temporarily reinstall your original radio to reactivate it.
• Hybrid power flow menu is not supported.
• Steering wheel End/Accept call buttons may not work while using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
