SYNC 4 Upgrade Kit for Ford Maverick

Upgrade your Ford Maverick to the SYNC 4 system with built-in wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. This kit includes the OEM Ford 12" Transit display, providing a larger, higher-resolution screen with an expanded interface for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

This kit is designed for XL, XLT, and Lariat Maverick models that are not equipped with SYNC 3. If your Maverick is equipped with the Lariat Lux package and already has SYNC 3, please use our Maverick SYNC 3 to SYNC 4 upgrade kit instead.

SYNC 4 is faster, more responsive, and more feature-rich than the factory base radio. It also adds wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto functionality.

This kit is 100% plug-and-play and requires no programming. Simply install the included components and the system is ready to use.

Navigation Information

Ford requires a subscription for factory navigation on SYNC 4. However, factory navigation can be enabled with this kit if selected.

If navigation is not enabled, the system will display the map and your current location only. If navigation is enabled, you will be able to enter addresses and search points of interest using the built-in factory navigation system.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality are not affected by the navigation option.

Warranty

All parts include a 1-year warranty.

Important Notes

• The FordPass app will work with this SYNC 4 kit. However, if the FordPass connection is removed, you may need to temporarily reinstall your original factory radio to reactivate FordPass.
• The hybrid power flow menu is not supported.
• Steering wheel End/Accept call buttons may not function while using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
