2015-2020 F150 12" Sync 4 Upgrade Kit

This product is in the BETA TESTING phase. Any purchaser now we will include a free ELM327 OBD adapter. There is a chance we will have to make programming adjustments to your kit to gain full functionality. This does not include things in the "things to know" section. Those features are not expected to ever work with these kits. Purchasing now you agree to be a beta tester and agree that you understand there may be some minor issues with certain features in your vehicle until we can remotely test programming with you. This remote programming may take an hour or more in certain cases and will require your help. Thank you so much for being a beta tester it helps us out immensely getting more and more test trucks with different features so we can properly program units for all retail customers.

We created a custom bracket to seamlessly integrate an OEM Ford Sync 4 Screen and APIM into your 2015-2020 F150. Care has been made to make sure every detail is correct and it has an OEM fit and finish you expect from us here at OEM Plus Upgrades.

Sync 4 includes features like full screen wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, split screen apps, and the beautiful large 12" display!

Our kit is fully plug n' play and includes all parts you need to do the complete conversion. We include a 1 year parts warranty on the Sync 4 system/screen and a limited lifetime warranty on the screen mounting bracket and wiring harness. Rest easy knowing we fully back our product!

Things To Know/Compatibility Notes

• 2015-2018 Radio Presets/Sirius XM: On 2015-2018 Trucks the radio presets will not function, all presets will say "preset-1" and do nothing if you press it. This is due to Sync 4 not communicating correctly with the older ACM software. The sound settings and radio/audio itself will function normally. SiriusXM also will not function. You may optionally add the ACM add-on if you would like to keep radio presets and SiriusXM. 2019-2020 Trucks will not have this issue, but can select the add-on if they would like to add SiriusXM or HD Radio to your truck.
• 2015-2017 4" non-touchscreen factory radios only: You will not be able to hear the other person on a phone call unless you either reprogram your ACM with our remote programming ($99) or purchase an upgraded ACM with your vehicle. Remote programming requires a windows laptop. If purchasing an ACM no additional programming is required.
• 360 Camera (if equipped): The 360 camera works but the on screen buttons for toggling different camera angles do not function.
• FordPass (if equipped): FordPass continues to work as it does currently in your truck unless a "master reset" is performed on the Sync 4 system. In that case you would need to reinstall your old system to re-activate FordPass.
• Navigation may not allow you to input destinations, it may only show a map. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not impacted and function normally.
• Massage Seats (if equipped): Massage seats continue to work with the button on the side of the seat but will not be reflected on the screen unless the seat modules are updated.
• Software Updates: We ship our APIMs with the latest available software, however it will not be able to be updated in the future over the air.
  
• Sync 4 does not support the CD Player (if equipped)
• Since this kit is new, there may be other minor compatibility issues. However these may be solved by remote programming. For a limited time we are including programming devices in the box just in case we need to modify your programming as we test this on more and more trucks with various options.
